Stephon Marbury

Stephon Marbury, the 4th overall pick in the 1996 NBA draft, is a two-time NBA All-Star who played on the 2004 United States men’s Olympic basketball team. He played eight seasons in the Chinese Basketball League (CBA), leading the Beijing Ducks to three championships (2012, 2014, 2015) and becoming a beloved personality in the Chinese sports scene, with statues and a museum (among other things) dedicated to him. He is a six-time CBA All-Star, a CBA Finals MVP (2015), and CBA Foreign MVP (2013). In 2006, he started a shoe and clothing line called Starbury, which recently launched in China to great fanfare. He starred in a feature film about the Beijing Ducks’ 2012 championship season, called My Other Home.
