Yi-Ling Liu

Yi-Ling Liu is a writer and creative educator, born in Hong Kong, educated in the U.S.,currently based in Beijing. She has written for the New Yorker, the Economist,Foreign Policy, and Guernica, on everything from Chengdu rappers to rural live-streamers. She spends most of her time trying to bring people together over food, get a women’s basketball scrimmage going, and listening to D’Angelo on repeat.
